We are so glad to invite you back for another Dharma talk with our own Grace Lee—this time exploring two of the most profound and often misunderstood teachings in the Buddhist tradition: Rebirth and Nibbāna.
Grace will offer a look at what these teachings mean, why they matter, and how they can inform our practice right here, right now.
Whether you’ve been sitting for years or are simply curious about what happens after this life (and what freedom might look like in this life), you are so welcome here.
No registration is needed. Just bring yourself, your practice, and your presence.
About Grace Lee
A queer, nonbinary, autistic, and direct descendant of immigrants and refugees, Grace brings a unique and vital perspective to the Dhamma. Grace has loved the Dhamma for several lifetimes, but in this current birth, they began meditation training in 2016 and then started teaching just last year at their home monastery, Karuna Buddhist Vihara.
Grace has written several books about Dhamma practice, including a travelogue about a 2-week pilgrimage to the Thai Forest Masters, which is freely available for download at www.karunabv.org/books.

*Updates for our online sit access: Due to a volunteer shortage, we will be reducing our online sit options as necessary. Sits that have online accessibility will provide a zoom link. We appreciate your understanding as we look for more support.
Want to help? We are seeking volunteers interested in learning our Audio Visual (AV) role who can commit to 1 or 2 days per month. If you can help us maintain this important accessibility option for the BIPOC Sangha and wider BIPOC Dharma community, please email us or fill out this form. Training and ongoing support will be provided.
